Once part of the Glenorchy Camp Ground, Prydes combines three tiny cabins together with a large covered veranda which makes a great entertaining area. There are stunning views to the glaciers of Barrier Range.
There is limited access to this hut and this may be dependent on the weather. If the tracks are dry enough you may drive in to drop off your gear then collect at the end of your stay - however the rest of the time your car must be parked in the main car park. Mountain bikes are ideal and recommended for getting around the property.
If extra accommodation is required, Prydes is located near Garden of Eden and Dolans Hut
Prydes is equipped with:
- Main bedroom (one double, one bunk, one floor mattress)
- Lounge with sofa bed (sleeps two)
- Kitchen with running water
- Gas cooker (outside under covered veranda)
- Full set of cutlery, plates and all other kitchenware
- Pillows with clean pillow case and mattress protector
- Solar shower
- Long drop toilet
What you need to bring:
- Bedding and towels
- Food and drink (and ice packs)
- 9kg gas bottle for gas cooker
- Insect repellent, sunscreen & camera
- Torch and lantern (no candles)
- Toilet paper
- matches or lighter

Please note there is NO electricity at this cottage or charging facilities on the property for electronic devices.
There is a strict NO CANDLES, No motorbikes, No quad bikes, No drones and NO FIREARMS policy in place
All rubbish is to be taken out when you leave and the place left as you found it - cleaning charges may apply
